The school day
Arriving to school on time is vital, both for staff and students. Please remember that an outstanding range of extracurricular activities are on offer both at lunchtime and at the end of the school day. Further details can be found here about Curriculum Plus.
The timings of the school day are:

| 8:00-8:35am | Period 0 intervention for targeted students as required. |
| 8:20am | The school site and breakfast club opens (free for all students in receipt of free school meals). |
| 8:35am | All students should be on site. |
| 8:40am | Period 1 starts. |
| 9:40am | Period 2. |
| 10:40am | Tutor time. |
| 11:05am | Break. |
| 11:25am | Period 3. |
| 12:20pm | Lunch for Year 7. |
| 12:25pm | Lunch for the rest of school – split across two sittings, which rotate each half-term. |
| 1:05pm | End of lunch for all students and movement bell. |
| 1:10pm | Period 4. |
| 2:10pm | Period 5. |
| 3:10pm |
End of lessons for Years 7-11. After school Curriculum Plus, period 6 intervention and Post 16 period 6 lessons. |
| 4:10pm | End of period 6 and Curriculum Plus programme activities. |
| 4:30pm | Reception closes (4:00pm on Fridays). |
