The school day
Arriving to school on time is vital, both for staff and students. Please remember that an outstanding range of extracurricular activities are on offer both at lunchtime and at the end of the school day.
The times of the school day are as below, you can download a copy here
- 8:00-8:35 - Period 0 intervention for targeted students as required
- Breakfast club opens from 8:15 which is free for all students in receipt of free school meals
- 8:25 - 8:40 - students arrive on site if not in intervention or at breakfast club
- 8:40 - Warning bell signalling move to first lesson
- 8:45 - Period 1 starts
- 9:45 - Period 2
- 10:45 - Tutor Time
- 11:05 - Break
- 11:15 - Movement bell
- 11:20 - Period 3
- 12:15 - Lunch for Year 7
- 12:20 - Lunch for rest of school
- 1:00 - End of lunch for all students and movement bell
- 1:05 - Period 4
- 2:05 - Period 5
- 3:05 - End of lessons for Years 7-11, after school Opportunities programme, period 6 intervention and post 16 period 6 lessons
- 4:15 - End of period 6 and Opportunities programme activities
- 4:30 - Reception closes (4:00 on Fridays)
