Welcome to the Carlton Academy

Home Page

Dear Parents

I would like to warmly welcome you to The Carlton Academy’s website.

The Carlton Academy opened as an academy on 1 September 2011, sponsored by Redhill Academy Trust.  As principal of the Redhill Academy for the past ten years I strongly believe that successful schools have four key characteristics;

  • High expectations of all students
  • Valuing and celebrating academic achievement
  • Consistently good and focused teaching
  • Widening students’ experiences through a range of extracurricular activities including sports, music and the performing arts.

Message from Mr Pierpoint

Wednesday 23 July 2014

Well done to everyone at The Carlton Academy this year. We have ended the year in style with a fantastic sports day and some brilliant awards assemblies which have seen so many confident young people recognised for the contribution that they make in school every day. We look forward to receiving our exam results this summer and wish every student who is due to get results our very best wishes. We look ahead to next year with optimism and excitement and wish  everyone in our school community a wonderful summer break. Thank you everyone. Richard Pierpoint
