Please use the document here to help students access their school Email as staff can only respond to Emails sent to them from students using the school system.

15 May 2020 - FSM voucher update

We have today sent parents who are eligible for Free School meals the next vouchers for £60 which cover the weeks 18 May, 1 June, 8 & 15 June. No monies are being provided for the half term week. These vouchers require you to go to a website and to select the shop that you wish to use them at, which will then see you enter the code we have provided you with and which will generate you a voucher for that shop.

The website that you need to go to, once you have received your text alert is: which you can also go directly to from here. Once you have gone to the website, there is help available for parents and a button that you click on which says 'Received an ECode from your school? Click to redeem it here'. When you go to redeem it, simply enter the 16 digit NUMBER you received and follow the instructions on the website. 

Sixth Form bridging work for Year 11

Coming to sixth form in September - our bridging work is now all available on line here to help suppport your transition.

26 April - Speakers for Schools talks and Star Line parent support

We encourage you to look at the fantastic range of talks taking place on line for students via the Speakers for Schools website, which can be found here

We also wish to highlight the new Star Line service for supporting parents with home education - this service can be accessed from here

Eligibility for Free School Meals

If you wish to check if you are entitled to free school meals, currently being provided in the form of vouchers for local shops, the link here will take you to the Nottinghamshire County Council website where you can check and ask for further assistance. Please be aware that all claims are handled initially through the local authorities and not directly to the school.

Sixth form independent study advice and next steps

Please click here to download a copy of the Independent study guide for students in Years 12 and 13 - we strongly advise that Year 13 students who are no longer being set work having completed their specifications and coursework make use of this helpful resource in aid of preparation for their next steps. You can also download a supporting guide for moving into apprenticeships from here and a suporting guide for moving onto Higher Education from here.

Government update on GCSE and Post 16 examinations this summer

The Government has provided schools with more guidance on awarding grades for courses that were due to be examined this summer. Please click HERE for a copy of the letter sent out on 6 April to parents of students in Years 11 and 13.
