We understand the importance and strongly encourage meaningful encounters between our students and employers with the aim to equip the next generation of workers with the knowledge, understanding and skills to make a successful transition from education to the workplace.
Each year, all our students have opportunities to engage with employers through our Careers Programme.  In the past this has included:
Mock Interviews - Year 11 and 13
Careers Talks - Year 7-13
Employability Workshops - Year 10
Virtual Workplace Mentor Programme - Year 7-11
'Have a Go' Workshops - Year 10
Work Experience - Year 10 and 12
We also have links to employers via our Enterprise Advisor - Mark Flanagan (KPMG)

We are particularly keen to hear from employers who can help link our subject-related curriculum in the classroom to the world of work/employment.  This could include visiting a class and running or supporting a lesson for example.

If you would like to keep in touch about these opportunites please contact: Mr McArdle - Careers Advisor - s.mcardle@theacademycarlton.org for an informal discussion.
